IT’S MY GIRL!!! Those who know me will know that I am a HUGE fan of Alisaie from Final Fantasy XIV. I couldn’t resist making her! I had fun figuring out her ears - it was the first time I put ears on my one my dolls.
She’s based on my Heartilly Doll pattern, but because Alisaie has more slender limbs, I altered the pattern somewhat for arms/legs.
Her clothing is her Shadowbringers outfit, as best as I can do with knitting. I’m really pleased with the dress–it came out exactly as I envisioned. The jacket is less accurate to the game, but is still recognizably her.
I have brought her to concerts with me, and someone once yelled “IS THAT A CROCHETED ALISAIE?!?!” Made my night. I had to yell back, “Knitted, actually!” but I don’t expect the layperson to know the difference.
It took 33 hours and 18 minutes to design and knit both the doll and her clothes.
