Okay, so I was showing off my FFBE crocheted dolls to another Final Fantasy fan on Ravelry, who lamented that she’d like to make dolls but couldn’t crochet. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
So I designed a knitted doll pattern. Now, I had designed crocheted stuff before, but as far as I can remember, this was my first knitted design. This is actually the second iteration - the first had too long of a chin/neck.
I’ve played a portion of Dragon Age: Origins, enough to be very familiar with Morrigan (no, I didn’t romance her, but she was quite taken with me!) and hey, her outfit is cool, so I decided to make her. I designed the clothes as well.
And this was really the start of me going crazy making dolls. I was just so PLEASED with the knitted ones, and they are fun to make. You’ll see more on this site!
The doll took 12 hours and 36 minutes to knit. The clothes took 8 hours and 26 minutes to design and knit.
