Early in my crafting career, I gravitated more to crochet than knitting, even though I learned both crafts just a month apart from each other. It was around 2017 that I really began to take an interest in knitting, including new techniques I hadn’t really done before.
This is one of those techniques: double knitting. In this technique, you use two colors of yarn and create a double-sided fabric. You knit the stitch for the side facing you, and purl the stitch for the side facing away. You always work in knit/purl combos. It’s slow and tedious but the results are really fun!
