I know for a lot of folks, Shadowbringers is their favorite expansion of Final Fantasy XIV, but for me, it’s Endwalker. This was the first expansion I played at its launch, and it was quite an experience. The servers were so crowded that it could take over an hour to get in, and the STORY… man, it got to me. I cried for THREE HOURS STRAIGHT playing through the final zone of it.
Starbird is from that expansion. When one of my communities was making birds, I decided well, I’m going to make Starbird! I completely winged the design. It had been a while since I had designed a crocheted softie, but I felt more confident in making the shaping in crochet rather than knitting. I’m pleased enough with the results. Eh, could be better, but it’s recognisable, so I’ll take it.
