On Ravelry, we talk about “unventing” techniques - figuring out for yourself how to do things others already know how to do. I unvented double knitting with more than two colors.
I am pretty thrilled with how this turned out. It’s not perfect - I messed up on some stitches and the tension is weird in places - but overall it looks pretty great in spite of the issues! It was my first time adding a third color to double-knit, and I’d definitely do it again, even though it’s a pain in the butt to work. It looks SO COOL!
I charted this myself, so there’s not really a pattern for it.
